Our Approach to Vaccination

We believe in starting with education about each vaccine-preventable disease and its corresponding vaccination. When we educate parents about infections, we emphasize:

  • Route of Transfer: Understanding how the infection spreads, whether through the air or via bodily fluids.

  • Rate of Infection: Knowing the prevalence of the disease, whether it's widespread or relatively rare.

  • Risk of Infection: Assessing the severity of the disease, from mild to potentially life-threatening.

    Concerned about side effects? We're committed to providing true informed consent, addressing your questions and worries with comprehensive data and clinical experience. No question is too controversial!

As advocates of personalized medicine, we believe in tailored approaches over one-size-fits-all solutions. We can work with you to craft an alternative vaccine schedule that prioritizes the unique needs of your child.

  • While we ca provide vaccines on the CDC recommended schedule, it is NOT required to receive care or vaccines with House Calls for Kids.

  • Yes we can space out vaccines to a schedule that prioritizes your family’s needs while providing your little one with the protection the need.

  • Yes! While we now offer immunizations to provide them to families that would like them, they are not a requirement to use our pediatric services.

  • We do not process insurance claims, however, we can provide you a super-bill which you can submit for reimbursement based on your health plan.

  • Yes we provide state required school entry form. This will include a temporary exemption when alternative schedule is being used.
